Restoring Righteousness

Those of you who are really dialed in to the mission and vision of Restore
Minnesota know that our calling is to partner with the Lord in restoring
righteousness to Minnesota and beyond. Whenever I share this publicly, it is normal to get a lot of “Amen’s” in response.

All of us long for the restoration of righteousness. We can envision our
communities operating with the principles of the culture of heaven, even though we understand that God’s heavenly culture will not be fully established until after Jesus returns. In the meantime, we engage in the process and we must remember:

Restoration is often a long, hard and dirty process.

We are in a spiritual war that is being played out in this physical realm. The enemies of God and our Lord Jesus Christ are shrieking the wails of anger, terror and fear as their hold on America is currently crumbling. Now is not the time to rest from our labors. Now is the time to double-down and press forward. You can be assured evil is not taking a break!

Continue to pray for our leaders, especially for their salvation, as we are
instructed in 1 Timothy 2:1-4. Speaking of praying for our leaders, let’s all get on the same page and ask the Lord to bring us His best choice for Governor in 2026, one whose beliefs and policies align much more closely with Biblical values as outlined in our nation’s Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States and the Minnesota State Constitution.

The battle for the soul of America is not over, it is just beginning. Stay with us in the fight! We’re just warming up.

Standing Firm –

Dale

Should the Democrats in St. Paul be held responsible for their dereliction of duty? Recall?

There was an agreement on Wednesday night for the Democrats to come back to work. See Alpha News: Deal reached to end Minnesota House standoff. Does that mean the Republicans should forgive and forget? Should we the citizens of Minnesota forgive and forget?

Keep an eye on this MN GOP site: Home | Mn Gop

Here is a strong perspective on the issue by Karin Miller, our Dakota County Community Action Team leader: The Great Minnesotan RECALL Effort is Live!

And, here's more from our Restore Minnesota Staff member, Sara Bertschinger: The MNGOP has initiated Recall Efforts for ALL MN House Democrats! - Restore Minnesota

Karin Miller just released another update: A WIN for We the People! - by Karin Miller
Church at the Capitol - February 1st
a report by Sara Bertschinger, Staff

Christians from across the state gathered at the Minnesota State Capitol to pray, study, and worship the Lord God the Holy One.  Believers came together at the foundation of the Capitol building to proclaim the eternal truths found in scripture.

Isaiah 52:7

How lovely on the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who announces peace
And brings good news of happiness,
Who announces salvation,
And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
Please note: there will be three more Saturdays in 2025 to participate in Church at the Capital - May 10, August 2, and November 22. Details will be provided as each date approaches.
From Our Friends: Human Life Alliance

by Geri Cox , Pro Life Task Force -
Hennepin County Community Action Team

I've utilized a lot of publications over the years from Human Life Alliance (HLA). Sometimes I was offering an HLA sidewalk counseling brochure outside of an abortion clinic, or sharing  The Truth About Planned Parenthood brochures at our church festival pro life table, or just leaving copies of HLA's teen magazine Just 4 Girls/ Just 4 Guys on our kitchen counter for my teen daughters and their friends. It was nice to finally meet the new HLA Executive Director, Andy Aplikowski, at the Sunday night Restore Minnesota town hall on February 2nd .

For those of you who weren't able to attend Sunday's meeting, Human Life Alliance was formed about 50 years ago; one of their goals is "to inform, inspire, and involve the pro-life community through comprehensive pro-life publications presenting the truth about abortion, assisted suicide, and euthanasia."

The most recent HLA offering is titled Fragile. Andy explained to us that Fragile was designed to reach environmentally-conscious students at college campuses with the truth that abortion pills are causing an unprecedented amount of human remains and abortifacient drugs to be flushed down toilets and into our waterways, wildlife, and agriculture.

To quote the magazine:
"The chemical abortion process is usually done at home with abortion pills and is described as 'really heavy, crampy period, and the process is very similar to an early miscarriage.' The FDA says chemical abortions can be performed up to 10 weeks after fertilization with the baby being about two inches in size. The push for tele-health prescription abortions means that these abortions are not being performed in medical facilities that can safely handle and dispose of the human remains. During this form of abortion, women who take abortion pills at home 'are very likely to pass the remains of [the] pregnancy into the toilet.' Unlike a medical facility with yellow bag waste rules, the baby, placenta, blood, and amniotic fluid get flushed down the drain. Wastewater treatment plants and septic systems aren't equipped to remove human remains, large tissues, or pharmaceuticals."

Note:  Fragile can also be read online at www.studentmag.org .Thank you, Andy, for joining us last Sunday!
This Michele Bachmann event is over, but the recording has just been released. She was amazing! What a powerhouse for the Lord. 400+ people filled the Living Word Chapel to be encouraged and challenged to keep praying for President Trump and this new administration, and for what could happen in Israel. The meeting had lots of intercessory prayer. Take the time to watch this. It's almost 3 hours, but so worth it, including the worship time.
