Deliverance

I'm writing this on the day they call “Good Friday.”

Another term for “good” is “holy.” So, “Good Friday” is “Holy Friday.” But, by the time you read this, Good/Holy Friday will have morphed into Resurrection Sunday (aka Easter) and another “holy day” (aka holiday) will have come and gone. For most of us, life will have moved on to another work week. (See the note below.)

Perhaps we can take just one more brief moment to pause and reflect on the most significant event in all of history.

Think of it. Jesus of Nazareth, this one solitary life, has had more impact on every people group on the planet in the history of the world through His life, death and resurrection. His life was so significant that for most of the world the concept of time, a human invention, is based on life before Christ and life after the death and resurrection of Christ.

Without the Resurrection of Jesus,

There would be no Christianity and we who call ourselves Christians would be calling God a liar for doing something He didn’t do (1 Corinthians 15).

We would be hopelessly lost (Ephesians 2:12).

There would be no meaning or purpose to our existence (1 John 1; Colossians 1:16-17; Hebrews 1:1-2).

The Lord is saying to each of us,

“ Of all the choices you make today, choose Me. Consecrate yourselves, for I am about to revive and restore Minnesota.”

The Resurrection of Jesus means everything. The burning question is: “What does it mean to you?”

Sue and I, all of the staff and advisory board of Restore Minnesota pray that the resurrection of Jesus remains the primary driver of your life and life’s choices going forward. After all, that one event was our deliverance from sin and death.

JOIN US AT THE MINNESOTA STATE CAPITOL
AS WE STAND FOR OUR CHILDREN ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY

On Saturday April 13th, thousands will be meeting at the State Capitols in every state and Washington D.C. from 1-3 PM local time in a call to protect our kids.

All 50 states will join together with Washington D.C., to stand together to pray, fast, and stand for the turning of their state and America back to God. The family unit is under attack as we see that death has climbed through our windows (Jeremiah 9:21).

If we don’t pray, fast, and stand in this hour, we are at risk of losing the hearts of our children, their God-given identities, and the freedoms that God destined for our nation. We are calling for every family to join us.

The day includes prayer, repentance, communion, worship, preaching the gospel, and reformation strategies to protect and strengthen the family as defined by the Word of God. Join us for this historic event to turn our country around.

The Purpose and Mission of Restore Minnesota is to restore righteousness to our state. The strategy to do that is through developing Community Action Teams in all of the 87 counties.
