The Problem Is Not The Guns

The shooting and murder of innocent children at Annunciation Catholic Church in South Minneapolis this past week did what any murdering of innocent children naturally does to a community, a state, or a nation. It shakes us to our core.

I appreciated Gov. Walz’s immediate statements about prayers for the families and community. I even have a sense of appreciation for other political leaders who said prayer wasn’t enough. Anybody who follows Restore Minnesota knows we place high value on prayer that leads to Holy Spirit-led action.

The place where we part company with several political leaders, political activists and even now the Pope is probably identified best by Senator Tina Smith’s (D-MN) article titled “Its. The. Guns.”

I humbly and firmly disagree.

It’s. Not. The. Guns.

The Communist-controlled Democrat Party exploits our families and children, indeed our nation, by selling lies about so-called “gender-affirming” care, among other things. The truth is these evil people promote gender-denying care all in the name of political power and control.

They have removed God from the public square. They kill babies in the womb. They sexualize our children through their public education curriculum agenda. They deny biological truth about men and women, boys and girls. Truth is their enemy. Instead, they drug, mutilate, and murder our children. They represent their father. His name is satan and his purpose is succinctly told us by Jesus that he is the thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. That is what the proponents of the trans movement and sexualization of our children are doing. And, they codify it into law. It is the apex of their arrogance against the God of the universe.

They destroy human lives who destroy human lives. And they call it “love.”

This has nothing to do with love, at least not the love of people.

For leftist-oriented political leaders, it has a lot to do with the love of political power and control over people. These people do not want a nation of freedom. They do not want a free people. They want pawns they can control who will create chaos that leads to tyranny. Their issue isn’t about guns. Their issue is about politicizing an agenda and fighting for political power. This is ultimately about controlling, not freeing, people.

For leftist-oriented activists, it is about anarchy against God. The Bible is clear: They hate God and they rage against Him. The Communist-controlled Democrat Party then uses them as their useful idiots. It’s in their playbook.

The Communist-controlled Democrat Party hates people. Why? Because people are made in the image of God and communists hate God and the idea of God. The only use these types of Democrats have for people is to use us for their statist purposes. Period. For them, the state is their god and socialism/communism is their religion. They are gods unto themselves and they think they get to rule over us as such.

A large majority of Americans are waking up to this evil that controls the Democrat Party. And we are sick of it.

Just to be clear, not every Democrat thinks this way. But neither does every Republican support my arguments just because they call themselves “Republicans.” This, however, is no longer about Democrats vs. Republicans. This is about right vs. wrong, righteousness vs. evil, God vs. satan.

At Restore Minnesota we will never apologize for taking the Bible as our source of Truth and proclaiming it. Even if it is counter-culture. Especially when it is counter-satan.

Continue to pray for the families and communities affected by the tragedy at Annunciation Catholic Church. And then put feet to your prayers. Support the work of Restore Minnesota. Join us if you can. Help us continue to bring the light of Truth into a dark and lost world.

Let's Celebrate!

Restore Minnesota has been approached to assist in celebrating this major milestone by providing events, classes, workshops, etc., that will help punctuate the Biblical worldview upon which our nation was founded and from which we have so badly strayed. These events will be in stark contrast to what Minnesota’s Governor has planned. We must stand for the truth about America’s founding and what led to the writing of our Declaration of Independence. This is in direct contrast and opposition to what is being planned by our Governor and his committee.

Our first event will be Saturday, September 13, at the Cass Gilbert Memorial Park, 30 Sherburne Ave., St. Paul, MN 55155. We will begin at 10:30 am. All are welcome. Please save the date and join us!

The Purpose and Mission of Restore Minnesota is to restore righteousness to our state. The strategy to do that is through developing Community Action Teams (CATs) in all of the 87 counties.
