It felt good, didn’t it? Between rededicating America back to God in May and celebrating her 250th birthday this month, it just felt good to lift up America again.
As part of our celebration, I had the distinct privilege of sharing my Celebrate America! message at Word of Life Ministries in Princeton, MN. The Christian history and founding of our nation is undeniable. We were founded to glorify God, to spread the gospel of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and to live in liberty with peace.

Now that we are on the other side of the July 4 celebrations and our focus turns to the midterm elections, I am reminded of the following words found in the Declaration we just honored:
“That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men,
deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute a new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”
Today, true American Patriots are in a fight to prevent other forms of government from becoming the prevailing ideologies that effectively shred our Declaration, Constitution and Bill of Rights into meaning-lessness. They have no desire for us to live under the gospel of Jesus Christ in liberty with peace. They want to banish Jesus, and take away liberty and peace by replacing them with the slavery of
government control.
I’m referring to the Red/Green/Blue axis, aka Communism/ Islam/ Globalism, and they are using our Constitution to win political races. Are you paying attention to states like New York?
It is time to send each of these anti-God, anti-American ideologies back to the pit of hell from whence they came and to where they belong.
Communism says government is God. Islam emphatically denies the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Globalism is driven by a secular humanistic interfaith pluralism where the “invisible hand” of the free market system means that making money, creating economies, and the people who control them are God.
All are contrary to our Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights. All are contrary to Biblical truth.
What is the answer?
Show up and vote!
Vote in your primaries. Vote in the general elections. Do not buy into the lie that your vote doesn’t count or that the system is so corrupt that you refuse to participate.
If you are an American, it is your duty to show up and vote.
If you are a Christian, it is your biblical duty to show up and vote.
We have many good and godly men and women running for office. Some of you are saying, “Yes, and God is in control. He will see to it that His choice wins.”
Not true!
God is in charge but He voluntarily is not in control. He calls us His partners. He will always do His part. We must also do ours. How many of God’s choices never made it into office because His partners did not show up? That is a serious question worth pondering. Not voting is dis-obedience to God.
So, secure your rights as given to you by our Creator. Be a responsible partner. We are all in this together. Let’s all do the biblically moral and right thing. Let’s do what it takes to preserve our freedom and liberty. Let’s do what it takes to protect our children’s children for generations from the pangs of godlessness and the war of lawlessness.
Let’s preserve our state under God. Let’s preserve our nation under God.
Let’s all show up.
