According to the Williams Institute at UCLA Law, approximately 0.5% (about 1.3 - 1.6 million) people in the United State identify as transgender. Led by their self-proclaimed “Queer Caucus,” Democrats, at least the ones here in Minnesota, seem to rally around transgenderism and other sexual identity-related issues as their primary cause.
Why do they force the 99.5% of the population to cave to the illness of the 0.5%?
I refer to transgenderism as an illness because the premise of transgenderism is that you were born in the “wrong” body and you were assigned the “wrong” sex at birth so you need to “fix” it.
Is the premise true?
The Biblical position is that God lovingly and carefully assigned your sex/gender at conception. Your birth simply revealed it. If you say you were born a male in a female’s body or vice versa, you are saying that God made a mistake when He made you. If that were true, if God really did make a mistake when He made you, then, no worries. He isn’t God anyway since, by definition, God is perfect and cannot make mistakes. Therefore, you have judged God, the Judge of the universe, to be wrong. The result is that you, a human being, are making yourself God.
Transgenderism, then, is a symptom of what happens when human beings replace God by becoming god. If that isn’t an illness, there are no illnesses. These are the fruits of deception and destruction.
A sign held by a “progressive” protester in the Rotunda at the counter to the “Protect Women and Girls Sports” rally summed it up nicely. The sign simply said, “Let the Children Play”.
Let’s be clear: The issue at hand has nothing to do with whether or not the children get to play. The issue has everything to do with protecting our daughters, granddaughters, girlfriends and wives when they play. In order to do that we must continue to demand that boys are to play only on boy’s teams and men are to play only on men’s teams.
Biology matters. Destructive, mutilating surgeries can never change an XX person to an XY person. Destructive, mutilating surgeries can never change an XY person to an XX person. Period.
We must continue in our fight to protect women and girls sports, including locker rooms, showers, rest rooms and traveling team hotel rooms, from the destructive forces of the sexually-diseased leftists who are exploiting confused, hurting people for political gain. Title IX protects our girls and women. Furthermore, it is the law of the land. Our Governor and Attorney General are disobeying it. This is the fruit of defiance.
Destruction. Death. Deception. Defiance. The fruit of the Democrat Party. Tampon Tim and his cohorts need to go.
Bottom line:
If you say you do not believe in God, fine. That is your prerogative. After all, if there is no God, anything goes, so go and do anything. You are solely at the mercy of man’s capricious laws, which really mean nothing unless you get caught.
However, if you want to understand what the Bible says on these issues, whether you agree with the Bible or not, you know why we Christians are done “playing nice”. Truth trumps nice. We will continue telling the Biblical truth and seek to do so in the most bold, direct manner possible.
That is what loving one’s neighbor does.
